How to format Pendrive in command prompt in windows 10 | Recon Cyber Security

Hello everyone Do you know how to format Pendrive in cmd… If you don’t know how to do this just follow the steps. So let’s start!

Step 1. Open your cmd run it as administrator and type “diskpart”…

Step 2. Now type LIST DISK after that you have to select your Pendrive so type select disk 1…Note you have to select the right disk otherwise, you can lost your data. You have know your Pendrive size…

Step 3. Now type clean and hit enter…

Step 4. Now type create partition primary and hit enter…

Step 5. Type select partition 1 and hit enter…

Step 6. After that, you have to type a command ( format fs=ntfs quick ).

Step 7. Now type active…

Congrats! Your pendrive is formatted.
